Terence O’Rourke appoints CBRE director to lead London office

Matt Nicholson has left his role as director of planning at CBRE UK to join specialist planning and design consultancy Terence O’Rourke as special projects director and run the company’s London office.

 

Terence O’Rourke, which also has an office in Bournemouth, has been responsible for overseeing a number of high profile projects, including the creation of the Warner Bros. Leavesden Studios Harry Potter Studio Tour, the McLaren Technology Group's Campus at Woking, the luxury treetop retreat at Chewton Glen Hotel, Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands and the expansion of London Luton Airport.

 

Matt has 16 years’ experience in public and private roles within the planning industry, having also held senior planning roles at Sainsbury’s and GL Hearn, as well as working as a town planner for King Sturge and Cushman & Wakefield and as a planning officer for the Borough of Poole. At CBRE he was a director within the London planning team, advising a range of commercial and residential developer clients across the capital and the South East.

 

At Terence O’Rourke, Matt will initially be involved with a strategic land review for a major international developer looking to undertake large scale residential schemes, as well as advising on a significant town centre regeneration project.
