Terence O'Rourke has made four new hires at its London office, expanding and strengthening the team.
Jonathan Woolmer has joined Terence O'Rourke as associate director, following several years working at Savills in London. Jonathan has over 10 years of professional experience, during which he has developed extensive planning knowledge and a strong breadth of experience in dealing with a wide range of planning issues and applications, including residential, retail, hotel, heritage, housing and major regeneration schemes. A significant proportion of his new role involves the preparation of major mixed-use and residential led schemes, both within London and the south east of England for a range of clients, including the Alma Estate regeneration scheme in Enfield and a large retail-led mixed-use scheme in Guildford.
Greg Blaquiere has been appointed as senior planner. Prior to joining Terence O'Rourke, Greg spent 10 years working in local government, with experience in enforcement and strategic developments. Since joining Terence O'Rourke, Greg has been working on estate regeneration at South Acton, a new housing development in West Oxfordshire and smaller residential schemes in south London.
Alex Chapman rejoins Terence O'Rourke as senior planner following three years working for the Taiwan Government Environmental Protection Administration developing their carbon management project activities. He brings experience in all aspects of planning work including project coordination, development plan promotion and planning applications. Alex's role sees him working on a wide range of projects from major estate regeneration schemes and town centre developments, to renewable energy projects and bespoke sheltered accommodation schemes.
Ellie Burrough has joined Terence O'Rourke as a planning assistant while undertaking a Masters degree in Urban Regeneration. She is currently working on a number of housing projects in the Test Valley, West Oxfordshire and Wokingham as well as assisting on an application for a residential led mixed-use scheme in North Cheam, London. Ellie also has experience with listed building consents.
Tim Hancock, managing director of Terence O'Rourke, said: "With an ever growing portfolio, we have strengthened our team in London to help deliver the growing number of national projects we have been winning. I am delighted to welcome Jonathan, Greg, Alex and Ellie to the team. Their wealth of experience across many sectors will see us maintain our excellent project success rate."
