Wiltshire County Council appointed us to provide architecture, town planning and landscape architecture services for this new 240-pupil school.
The school has eight classrooms alongside additional staff accommodation and facilities including a main hall, a kitchen and an administration block.
The building was designed to relate to the external space through a series of semi-external timber decks, which are accessed from the circulation space. This created a defensible internal space, while ensuring the building sits sympathetically within its context.
