Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival
West Sussex
Client: The Goodwood Estate
Town planning
Held annually at the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival are significant events in the motor sport calendar. Through our work with the estate we were appointed as planning consultants to work with the operators and ensure planning controls are sufficiently flexible to allow both events to evolve, while balancing any environmental and community impacts.
This has involved undertaking any necessary planning appraisals, obtaining consents as required and dealing with any issues arising.
The Festival of Speed features the now famous hill climb and attracts the top manufacturers, teams and motor sport personalities. The Goodwood Revival relives and celebrates the motor circuit’s 1948 to 1966 heyday, featuring cars and motorcycles from the era.
