Terence O’Rourke assisted in securing planning approval for the master plan for Acton Gardens, one of the largest regeneration initiatives in West London.

The £579m scheme will create around 2,500 homes, half of which will be affordable, whilst providing a green neighbourhood of parks, communal gardens and allotments alongside community facilities and retail space.

Acton Gardens LLP is a joint venture between Countryside Properties and London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q). The master plan here will assist in reconnecting the estate to existing underground and overground stations as well as to Acton town centre and was the result of extensive community and stakeholder consultation.

Permission was granted in 2013 alongside detailed consent for 106 new homes. Between 2014 and 2016 the team secured reserved matters approvals on applications for phases 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
