Bournemouth Borough Council has established a long-term joint venture with Morgan Sindall Investments Ltd (MSIL) to rejuvenate Bournemouth town centre through the innovative re-use of a portfolio of car park sites.
We were originally appointed to help coordinate the masterplanning input to MSIL’s tender to the Council, creating a cohesive vision for Bournemouth as ‘the 21st century garden city by the sea’ including a Grand Garden Walk public real concept.
We have subsequently supported the award-winning Bournemouth Development Company partnership in delivering a number of early developments for residential, student accommodation and multi-storey car park developments including the landmark Citrus Building development, a mixed use building designed by the practice which been a catalyst for enhancement of the Horseshoe Common area.
