Terence O’Rourke was appointed to promote Hermes’ long term vested interests in Tunbridge Wells and to realise their aspirations to enhance Royal Victoria Place. Engagement with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council was key to Terence O’Rourke’s strategy and meetings with the Council were productive and proactively fed into potential outline schemes for the site. The Council were supportive of investment in Royal Victoria Place and welcomed the engagement.
The objective was to liaise with the Council during the drafting of the Local Plan to support the progress of outline schemes for Royal Victoria Place and to ensure Hermes’ commercial interests were safeguarded and benefited from supportive and flexible planning policy.
